Circus Girl

She’s from a world,
Of popcorn and candy
Pony rides for a dime,
Little children laughing

Everybody’s havin’,
Bundles of joy and fun
A fountain of water,
People dancin’ in the sun

I’m from a world,
Of disappointments and confusions
Where insults are hurled,
Our existence is lackin’ solutions

We’re two different people,
Who swiftly fell into each others arms
We’ll marry in a church with a steeple,
Where nobody can inflict upon us any harm

She’s from a world,
Of laughter and joy
Have the time of your life,
Like a child with a toy

I’m from a world.
Of misery and false hope
Your children are high on love,
Whilst ours are hooked on dope

I was the clown,
And she was the dancer
We both knew it wouldn’t work,
But we both took our chances

Know she has gone,
Moved onto another town
How I wish I could sing to her this song,
And turn our lives around

She was member of a circus performance,
Who’d unexpectedly come to perform
Face-paint, balloons, clowns and sweets too,
She stole my heart when she walked through

Yes it's good. How did Pinda die so young? Sorry but it is a bit baffling. Was he very ill?

Agreed very good, as expected from Pinda's pen.
