You had much persistence.
You wore down my resistance.
Gave me one adorable glance.
Off we go, on the floor of the dance.
(Chorus)
Could you coo.
Would you care?
For a countryside cottage.
That we could share.
The babies' are listening.
And so is the world.
Let me tell them now.
Pardon my lush, pardon the blush.
Julia Carter, is my crush.
She is my girl.
Shockingggggg themmmmmm.
Yiooooooooooooooo.
I've got a mega crush on you.
Like puppy love.
Were back at school.
Would you cultivate?
Would you appreciate?
Would you poorly hate?
Or would do adore?
Anyway answer is right.
Because for you.
I will forever open my door.
Shockingggggg themmmmmm.
Yiooooooooooooooo.
Shockingggggg themmmmmm.
Yiooooooooooooooo.
I've got a crush on you.

Lol, another favourite of mine. Remember going camping one time when 'Maggie May' first came out; thought it was one of the best I had ever heard at the time. I think the b (flip) side was 'You wear it well', which was amazing too.
Bob Marley one is my favourite of the three pieces but I probably relate more to Rod because of the memories that the cool dude with the gravelly voice brings back ...we all wanted to BE him lol.
Well done!
Chris ;)

Rod Stewart was magnificent back in the day, to bad most music nowedays is about mainstream gossip. What has become of modern entertainment. Rod, elvis, motown legends. Did you like Bruce springsteen?

Oh yea! Seen him about 3 weeks ago in Dublin; still the boss! Better than ever and what a gig he puts on, stays on stage forever and never lost the roots.
