Mohammed

Amongst the confusion,
The chaos and the pain

A man emerged,
Mohammed was his name

And walking with nothing,
But Allah as his aid

The path of love and peace,
Was what he had paved

The mark of the prophet,
Between his shoulder blades

In a cave in Mount Hira,
The revelation came

The time for freedom,
Abolish chains of the slaved

From among all the prophets,
Mohammed was the last

As his was a mission,
Of the greatest task

The best of morals,
He aimed to attain

All he’d accomplished,
With suffering and pain

His mission complete,
His soul in great esteem

Made friends with local pilgrims,
Named Rahim and Rasheed

Promised in conflict,
That no man shall bleed

Like an angel is one,
Our being derived from a seed

Love peace and war will learn to walk away

I really liked this. Especially the last line,

"Love peace and war will learn to walk away"

Very well put.

such very special words in this poem, that I will
treasure, especially like well-wisher said, that
last line said it all.

Beautifully written and a wonderful message.
