Toys, do they help
to pass the time away?
Or do you get annoyed
when kids get their way?
The blaring horns.
The clash of cymbals.
The mass of toy soldiers.
The cries and giggles.
The constant squabbles.
The endless energy.
The grubby hands,
and just behaving badly.
There is no other way,
I am sorry to say.
Children will be children
