Once peaceful and untouched yet
So very loved, its so hard to envisage
A solace natural world.
I'm so sorry for all you
Have had to endure, throughout
The Many, long years.
We are all to blame,
After all we arrived and simply
Displayed, no respect, no love
For You, just our own selfish need,
Followed by indulgence of greed.
Our Mother Land,can we ever really make you
Better forever more, and let you create
The ambiance of calm,bright sun,peace
And harmony millions of years ago
You nurtured.
I say Lets Start Again!! I'm not sure
About others, but I want to be able for us all
To find the dryer side of rain, when
It pours.To see the sunny side of
The clouds when they hover so melancholy,
And a brighter side of darkness once more.

Hi Insertponcefre... thank you for taking the time to look at my poem and give such lovely comment, I appreciate that :) in fact I do not feel its one of my best I could of entered but if the money helps someone else to win and help ABC (which is us all, then I am happy with that) Because there are far more rewarding winners than this poem but again it means a lot your comments, even the typo which of course your right ... thank you :))) I have to do my poems when health e.t.c permits which some times means late at night or when very tired so all kinds of mistakes happen ha ha .
