In Blackadder with Rowan Atkinson, Stephen Fry's nose seemed to be broken and pointed in a different direction every episode. (Musing.)
Also in Blackadder, Hugh Laurie played a "nitwit/numbskull/twit". In House, he plays a catankerous American doctor. I wonder if House fans would lose respect for him if they saw his Blackadder character. Probably not. (BTW, I love House. It's a great show. WATCH IT! Please.)
After John Cleese left Monty Python's Flying Circus to do Fawlty Towers, the sketches got longer. Why is that? (Rhetorical question.)
