It falls steadily, smoothly, flowing over everything in sight. The cool rain is refreshing, a welcome change from the dry heat everyone was accustomed to. Rain is a great thing. It renews everything, cleaning off dirt and dust and everything unwanted. The air is cleaner too, only the faint smell of ozone lingers. I look up at the sky and let the rain fall down on me. It's rain to everyone else, forgiveness to me.
