For two years, she has been the one thing that kept me going. When I was faced with the possibility of failure, she reassured me and helped me get past my problems. The woman I'm speaking about here is my high school guidance counselor. She never admits defeat. Many times, I have seen her defend a failing student or console someone grieving the loss of a family member. She means the world to all of her students, and I speak for all of us when I say, Thank you, we would never have come this far without your help.
