Did you watch the sky last night, I did
and was amazed how sleek colours were
more like an eyeball squished tightly
peeking over the horizon wondering if I had
been a good person, and so sure
I was, because it is part of my DNA
AND besides my momma taught me well, to
grow up into a good Catholic boy, even
be a priest and make the family so proud,
but I decided no, ‘cause I wanted to be married
one day, raise children, come home to baking
and other delights, and I did so with family
time waiting for little ole me.

Huge thanks Jenny. Tonight's sky is cloudy, and as much as 50 mm of rain to tumble Sunday. Phew. Richard LP
