My wife and I
walk in the woods for a bout of
fresh air,
hearing loons trill
at the close of early evening
talking, remembering--
family on the shores of the Bruce
Peninsula,
climbing hills at Cape Breton,
picnics in Alberta,
swimming in PEI and a backyard
barbecue.
