The Kite
waves of air
catch
the fragile paper
launched by
a ten year old
boy’s hand
the wood slim and
firm
rises up up

I wonder whether this poem is a description of kite-flying or whether it's a metaphor for something else- like the impulsive and inexperienced nature of young boys.
The poem is very effective either way, and it's a very enjoyable read.
Well done.
Nathan.
