MOMENTS IN LIFE poem

from the ABC set POETRY - A Passage of Motion 2

Moments in Life

Surround me with
family
that I may shun despair
and tired eyes view the world
with the delight of
morning dew

creating opportunities for
friendship
an open heart
without tension nor offense

words believed for their purity
stirring hearts
an I love you gratefully received
with a smile.

I am young once again
like scented cedar
eyes sparkling as a prancing doe
sweet grass awaiting

hands clasped
accepting dancing melodies
from loons in the balance
of twilight.

I like it and think it's done very tastefully.
