Staring from 15 floors
I see lights as stars
shining over the streets
buildings as highways
of activity
climbing Hamilton Mountain
to get a better view.
Missing from my sight
but not in my heart
you’re the star in my sky.

Thank you, Anne. There is so much subject material out there. I tell people who are unsure of what they should write about. I say, "Stand still, close your eyes, make a circle, then open."
