SOUTHWEST MARGAREE poem

from the ABC set POETRY - A Passage of Motion

Southwest Margaree

Early winds bring storm
and rain and wet
gulps

trees bend, shingles shake
as little Jonathan
hears from his
crib

the sky is a mask
and thirsty
crops slop up the
heavy falling.
