It's a paradigm shift,
a great dime-bag rift
between truth and lies,
and between youth and lies
It's the culmination
of the Emancipation Proclamation,
which alone can't free
hundreds of thousands of blacks and whites
(mostly blacks)
in prison for growing a plant,
an ancient and revered herb
The Ameri-fascists and the liquor companies
are throwing all their powers of deceit and spin,
fraud and self-righteous sin
into the battle,
but the polls remain solid
"as a stone wall"
Californians are re-claiming the American dream,
and entering a golden hour.
the cancer patient, the artist,
the philosopher, and the brick-layer
shall have their medicine,
and their life, liberty,
and pursuit of happiness
In this respect,
the rest of the nation remains
in futile, feudal darkness.
But I'm far from the only one
who'll be lighting it up

awesome poem, and an opinion that I (not only because I'm Dutch) share!

It is a shame that the weed is shrouded by so much individiousity when it is simple and plain that it harms noone and that so many smoke it. I comply with your opinion !
