the world is ending
the world is ending...
for an impoverished old man
who uses a walker
to get around a dingy nursing home
in a land he took D-day shrapnel for,
and imagine the liberals
want to taint the free market
and give him better food
the world is ending...
for the drug addicted
on the streets
who can't find enough to eat...
and when they see
the error of their ways
there's a lengthy waiting list
to get sub-standard cultish treatment
and so they die
Meanwhile, the Christian zealots
are in lines
waving "pro-life" signs
everyday outside abortion clinics,
losing and raising money,
throwing metaphoric stones at gays,
and saying how the world's going to end
