There is a world that exists,
deep beneath the ocean,
one that holds the mysteries,
when our eyes are open.
Diving down into the ocean,
as far as we can go,
I simply take your hand,
through the corals way below.
The coral skeleton of the marine,
the beauty of the fish we've seen,
all different shapes and different colours,
that captivate all our desires.
As we meander like snakes,
a circuitous journey into the unknown,
we spy a shoal of Angel fish,
sheltering in seagrass, they make their home.
As we shine our torches on them,
they shimmer through the light,
an appearance of brightness,
a rainbow of delight.
We watch in wonder at green turtles,
feeding on sea grass,
there's shrimps, crabs and spiny lobsters,
that shelter as we pass.
The colours are exquisite,
the plant life delicate to touch,
swaying ever changing,
of this enviroment we love so much.
And deep within my soul,
I wish we could stay here forever,
diving in this coral reef,
and just being here together.
