In my garden where Magic lingers
some Fairy dust doth leave my fingers,
soft seeds I spread wild and free...
a gift I leave for Fairies three,

a little house made of wood...
I'd put some lights in if I could,
a little path leads to their door
with welcome mat upon their floor,

the Fairies love Foxgloves this I know...
some seeds from packet with love I'll sow,
ornamental mushrooms three
one I'll give to each of thee,

come music Fairy - Melody,
Sunshine is the light Fairy...
the Wind Fairy - her name is breeze
she loves to play up in the trees,
**********************
so on this day the Fairies play
in Nature I'm content to stay...
breathing in the nice cool air
just sitting here without a care.

Gosh, Jenny, me of all people who adores fairies, hadn't got a clue about today. Well done you for marking the day with such a beautiful poem.
Actually, my garden is full of fairy lights, all year round, and it drives my partner mad, but I love them, and we do have a few foxgloves, luckily enough.
I really enjoyed this, Jenny, and found this stanza especially lovely;-
"come music Fairy - Melody,
Sunshine is the light Fairy...
the Wind Fairy - her name is breeze
she loves to play up in the trees"

You are at home with these other world beings aren't you. This is very sweet. I'm glad you put the fairies quite suitably together with Mother nature. I loved this poem and tribute to Fairies Day- congratulations with today then Jenny.
