I went and took the day off work today,
thinking it would be a cool way to spend a day.
Going for a walk, having a swim,
cutting the grass, going to the gym.
Cook a nice meal, have a bottle of wine,
yes this is the way we love to dine.
Take a quilt, cosy up on the floor,
put on some music, some David Gilmore.
But my plans all fell apart,
they all went wrong from the start. Got up late,
put the computer on, words, rhymes and rhythm's
suddenly I'm gone.
I think, I no "ABC Tales" is where I'll go.
Hours have passed, I think 'Oh no!'
reading other peoples stories and poems,
it takes time, making comments line by line.
I really should be reading a book,
but its no good, I can't resist a look, at what
others have written, I think I'm hooked.
Oh I've definitely been bitten by this "ABC Tales"
bug.
And all my partner got from me was a kiss and a
hug. Oh well!

Thanks for your comments, I only bought this
computer at the beginning of June, never been
on one before, but my son is teaching me.
ABC Tales was the first thing I found.
But I have folders of stories and poems I have
written, I just love it.
