can anyone work out what I'm saying in this piece?
Jenny.

celticman | June 5, 2011 - 16:34

em something about listen and comment?

skinner_jennifer | June 5, 2011 - 16:42

I might take it off, as I think it's not working.
Sorry.

Jenny.

skinner_jennifer | June 5, 2011 - 16:45

No I've decided to leave it on.

Jenny.

Highhat | June 5, 2011 - 17:32

What a puzzle- I'm not anywhere near it I'm afraid?

;)Pia

well-wisher | June 5, 2011 - 22:56

Haven't a clue so far. It looks a bit like a picture
of something on its side. The middle section is an anagram of 'always turning' but that's probably just a coincidence

skinner_jennifer | June 6, 2011 - 09:29

I'll give you all a clue:-

if you, re-arrange the letters, you will come up with
a saying. This is the clue:-

While life goes on revolving and there's nothing else
to do, I like to think.

Sorry there's no prizes, but I just thought it would
be a bit of fun.

Good luck.

Jenny.

skinner_jennifer | June 6, 2011 - 09:31

Thanks for having a go Pia,

You're a Star,

Jenny.

skinner_jennifer | June 6, 2011 - 09:32

Thankyou well-wisher,

may be the clue will help you and Pia, to try again.

Thankyou anyway.

Jenny.

Highhat | June 6, 2011 - 12:29

I tried again! Another clue?

;))Pia

Louise178 | June 6, 2011 - 13:53

Don't take it off, I am determined to work it out !!!

skinner_jennifer | June 6, 2011 - 14:32

Hope this helps Pia,

if not i will give you another clue.

Thanks for trying, this is fun.

Jenny.

skinner_jennifer | June 6, 2011 - 14:33

Hi Louise,

that's great your having a go, thanks for letting
me know. Good luck!

Jenny.

Highhat | June 6, 2011 - 16:47

They are all jumbled together. I give up-what does it say? Do you think I would know the saying Jenn?
I think I'll just wait and see what the others come up with. Rats

;)Pia

skinner_jennifer | June 6, 2011 - 17:37

Okay, here goes!
there are words in all. I'll give you the
first letter of each word, here goes:-

T w o t a a t a i
s h c.

I'm not sure how this will come out on the comments,
so bare with me.

Jenny.

skinner_jennifer | June 6, 2011 - 17:40

Thanks Pia,
if Louise doesn't want to continue, then I'll give
you the answer.

Jenny.

P.S. It's not really anything that special, but I'll
give Louise another clue.

This is the clue:-

what do wheels do? what does a baby get when it comes
into the world? it gets Li!
what do you do, when at the computer? you something on your bum. And last but not least, it's nice to do
this when you have nothing else to do, begins with
Con....

Now that was a clue and a half!

Jenny.

oldpesky | June 6, 2011 - 18:31

Hi Jennifer, I'm terrible at puzzles but looking forward to someone from Bletchley Park solving this enigmatic little problem. Too tough for my pea-sized brain.

Louise178 | June 6, 2011 - 19:45

Jenny I looked earlier and thought you had taken it off, damn!!! Anyway have just written your poem down and all said clues.....be back later :)

Louise178 | June 6, 2011 - 19:48

Oh I think I might have one bit...the wheels of life

Louise178 | June 6, 2011 - 19:50

the wheels of life are always turning

Louise178 | June 6, 2011 - 20:01

as I sit somthing something something, any good? I could be totally wrong here :)

well-wisher | June 6, 2011 - 22:02

Perhaps, Louise, it's "The wheels of time are always
turning as I sit here contemplating" based upon one of Jenny's earlier clues + what Louise worked out.

Louise178 | June 7, 2011 - 07:12

Yes I can see it now !! :)

skinner_jennifer | June 7, 2011 - 09:15

Louise you really nearly had it.

Thankyou.

Jenny.

skinner_jennifer | June 7, 2011 - 10:24

Hi everyone, It's 'the wheels of life are always
turning as I sit here contemplating.'

Thankyou so much old pesky, for at least trying.

Jenny.

P.S. I think well-wisher got it, because I've just
noticed I made a mistake in the first letter of each
word, I meant to put life instead of time, so the
T should have been an L. Sorry about that.

I don't think I shall try this again, far to
complicated. But thankyou all.

Jenny.

Silver Spun Sand | June 7, 2011 - 10:30

My brain hurts, Jenny;-) Got to this one too late, unfortunately, but I don't think I would have got it. A fantastic idea of yours, and it certainly made everyone put on their thinking caps.

Tina

skinner_jennifer | June 7, 2011 - 11:04

Hi Tina,

thankyou for letting me know. I feel very foolish
as I got one word wrong and I think Louise would
have got it, if it hadn't been for my stupid
mistake.

I really take my hat off to those people who create
anagrams and crossword puzzles, it's more difficult
than you think.

Anyway thankyou again for your comment.

Jenny.

Silver Spun Sand | June 7, 2011 - 11:52

Jenny - no reason on earth for you to feel 'foolish'. I couldn't even have half achieved what you did, and I think that judging by everyone's interest in this wonderful puzzle of yours, it was a great success. I, for one, hope you have another go some time, and you never know, you may have started something;-)

Tina

skinner_jennifer | June 7, 2011 - 12:31

Thankyou Tina.
