Oh, Jenny...I hadn't realised it had been but one year since you joined ABC. It seems as if you have always been here;-)

I think you have put, very well, with your graphic imagery, what many of us feel...me included.

A lovely poem, a lovely thought, and a lovely day...hopefully where you are. Certainly here, it is, so I'm rushing with my housework so I can get out into the garden.

Hi coral,

thankyou so much for your kind wishes, you know I'm
like you, sometimes I just cannot think of anything
to write about, then all of a sudden words just come
to me, mainly at night, so I took advice from another
writer, I always keep a note pad and pen on my bed-
side table, it really helps. But I do struggle and
it doesn't come easy honestly.

I really do hope that I can keep writing, it's so
good to be able to express my self, if you know what
I mean.

Anyway thankyou again for commenting and supporting
me, it's much appreciated.

That was really a kind thought to put this little rhyming poem up- Jenny- thanks for great companionship (if you can say that?) through the past year- I know what you mean about becoming enriched by Abc and you have certainly been one of the assets with your beautifully natural and down to earth writing. well it is a bit magical as well- and you are close to nature. I like that. I agree with celtic- you give more than you take. You know I have been here off and on since 2005- it's funny isn't it?
Yeah keep writing your wonderful pieces and I'll stay happy and I know I'm not the only one

many thanks for your kind comment and I really mean
it, when I say you have helped me an awful lot along
the way, probably more than you know.

I have never really thought about the giving and
taking side of it, if I really love a piece of work,
then I just have to let the writer know how I feel,
which is why abc tales is so good. When you read a
book, or watch a film, you never get the chance to
comment, but here you do and that's so special.

I really value your friendship on here and that's
another reason why I'm glad I found this place.

what can I say? you have really made my day with
your more than kind words.

I'm so glad that you've been able to find out how
to read others work, to be honest I only found out,
some months back, when Pia showed me what to do, so
you're not alone.

Don't ever stop writing, if it's in your mind, write
it down, you will be amazed at how words and lines
can suddenly come together in a verse or a story.

I really do appreciate you taking the time out to let
me know your feelings and I also look forward to
reading more of your work.

I've been here just over a year too and I'd be lost without it, and its people, not least your wonderful self! Abctales is a very unique place and this brilliant poem celebrates just how special it is, and how lucky we all are to have it. My life has certainly been enriched by being involved here and like yourself, I'm going to be here for quite some time. Thanks for posting this and for the cherished encouragement and support you've given to so many of us the past twelve months - as OP just said, here's to you :)
