I touch the air with closed eyes
feel the softness of your Spirit,
linger by the lake of dreams...
hear you exhale on the breeze,
boundless love a breath away,
remembering those smoky blue eyes
like gazing into a well of mystery...
we slipped beneath the cotton sheets
our bodies close – became entwined,
swaddled as like a sleeping butterfly
safe within its silky...protected cocoon,
my love I want you to realize
your Spirit is safe to move on,
I'm elated...euphoria abounds
for a new love I have found...
happiness cascades over me
like the ever flowing waterfall.

This is really beautiful, Jenny...One of my many favourites of yours;-)
The second stanza stands out for me:-)
remembering those smoky blue eyes
like gazing into a well of mystery...
we slipped beneath the cotton sheets
our bodies close – became entwined,
swaddled as like a sleeping butterfly
safe within its silky...protected cocoon,
Very much enjoyed.

Hello Tina,
thankyou so much for a wonderful comment.
I do believe that Spirits can linger and stay
around those they love, wanting to be with them.
So I also believe that they need to be guided
over to the light by being helped and told that
everything is fine.
Thankyou again for letting me know you enjoyed
and also I'm very grateful for you reading.
Jenny.

Hi Pia,
it's so kind of you to read this piece, it was nice
that you could feel the Spiritual Love as you read
it.
There is so much in the Universe that we don't
understand, all we need is a little faith, this
was another side I was trying to convey.
Again I'm very grateful that read and enjoyed and
it means a lot to get your comments, so thankyou
again.
Jenny.

Such a beautiful title, Jen and I love the sentiments and the way you express them. You continue to impress me with the improvement you've made over the last 18 months. Your facility with words and phrasing now enables you to express yourself freely. And Jennifer, honey... I really like:
we slipped beneath the cotton sheets
our bodies close – became entwined,
swaddled as like a sleeping butterfly
safe within its silky...protected cocoon
so sexy, so romantic, and so lovely-jubbly! Well done!

Hello Trish,
I'm a very spiritual person and truely believe that
sometimes spirits cannot leave their earthly realm,
because they were so happy, so sometimes I think
they need a gentle nudge to go on their way.
This is how this poem came about, I'm pleased you
enjoyed reading it and thankyou for telling me,
always appeciated.
Jenny. xx

Hi! jenny,
really moving emotional poem.
You are absolutely true!
About spiritual side, too I
have experienced that too!
Yes,they do sit by hold their hand.
Visit or just be there!
Have you read 'My Beautiful Ring'
My belated pop! it wasn't in the end.
But spirit was with me.
Blow it went,do horse named, 'Bold Ring'
thinking of it,only four in race, early noon,
I was resting, mine going put on. I said No!
Won! at 40-1 not 1p on it. Happens sometimes.
You are absolutely right,spirits spiritually,
love unloved will hold on. Specially if nursed them bit.
Hope your well.
