A Love Song of Love

I love you in the first period on Tuesday mornings
Which is English (ugh) but will you ever notice me?
I am the one sitting behind you. Sometimes I put things
Down your neck to show my love and you are like
“What’s that stupid bitch doing now?” and I am like
A big, dull pudding. In English I cannot match your
Eloquence, but in Science I can pour acid on your shoes.
I like Science the best, it is where I can express myself
And that doesn’t mean getting milk out of my tits.
Because some people think it does. But it doesn’t.
One day we will do geometry and I will scribe designs
On your forehead with my dividers and your blood will
Carry your love to the bandages which will shine out
Their message of love because of your love and my love
And the holes I have made. Then we will go to History
And learn about love in the olden days and how it can be
Applied to office work. And I will give you this poem
And you will wonder if I really mean it and in Geography
You will find out when I explode like a volcano which
Is to be found in France, where French things happen,
And you will finally tell me your name. I hope it’s
Andrew.

Thanks for your comments everybody. I am indeed a telepath aged ten going on a thousand. I turned on the tap late last night and this is what came out. I can't wait to see what's next!

Skunk is not as feminine as pink toilet paper so quite confusing. Is the androgeny deliberate ?.
Liked the fact you can so easily slip into the mind of a child !

I wanted to be called Pink Water Lily of the Fiery Dawn on a White Pony With Mane Streaming in the Wind, but the name was already taken. Skunk is almost as good. It's a kind of elf, isn't it?

This is fantastic. I'm amazed it wasn't cherry picked. Dark and very funny. My favourite bits are the French volcanic section and the psychotic divider moment.
