A telegram is a poetic form suitable for transmission through wires. It is similar to an epigram in that the aim is to insert the maximum information in the fewest words, but in the case of a telegram the purpose is a saving of money.
The form has no rhyme or metre. Each line must end in 'stop'. It should be as short as possible.
Example 1: Send More Spoons
Spoons gone stop
Send more stop
Example 2: Home on Tuesday
Dock Southampton Tuesday stop
Bringing five thousand Zulu warriors stop
Send car stop
Zulus can run behind stop
Example 3: Home on Wednesday
Norwich Wednesday stop
That is to say Paddington then taxi stop
But Norwich in any case stop
You know what I mean stop
Example 4: Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer's Day?
Summer good stop
You better stop
Example 5: Stop What You're Doing, No Summer Items Left
Summer good stop stop
You better stop stop

An idea for the IP? Re-write a poem or novel in a form suitable for sending in a telegram.
Mad woman in attic stop
Marrying anyway stop
