The mist writhes in lurid poses
Making halo's above tired roses;
Splatter, splutter night rain
In sudden droplets falling,
Away into the long darkness
That world of ocean bleak
Damp trodden leaves and fleas.
Pastures burnt into eerie colours
Egg coat wombs inside old mothers;
Gutter, flutter charcoal rats
Done eating broken shells,
That echoed with clawed paws
Stygian timbre banquet bells
Gnawed pale eyes host flies.
Speak no bliss tale of Geb'e-an merry
That land of peaceful blossom cherry;
Clatter, batter Joshua King
Ring damn walls of diadem,
Conspire, strife hated myre
By gods worded fire flared
Smashed bled the quiet dead.
