Fuck
With that one word I have already divided my potential audience. Some of you thinking ‘cool, I hope this is about fucking,’ while half of you are already taking four-letter offence.
‘Some of us have a wide enough vocabulary not to have to swear,” you say. I say, ‘fuck you’
You say ‘There’s no need to say fuck,’ all I can say is google the word, you’ll find over a million needy people.
Fuck is the most beautiful word in the world. It’s a word of love, and a word of hate. It’s guttural, it’s ancient, it’s English and it’s been taboo since before the word ’taboo’ was even thought of. It’s my four-letter offending friend.
Fuck is used by the young and trendy and the old and cantankerous (guess which I am).
But the best thing about the word fuck, is that it only offends the sort of people I really enjoy offending.
Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck-a-doodle-do.
