It arrives, exploding
Cherry blossom,
against a
morning azured backdrop.
Summarily slamming
winter's door,
having uncoiled
from its handmaiden;
pride before the fall?

A like this , it's got a strange zen, japanesy feel to it. Regards Chimpanzee

Thanks Chimpanzee. It was just intended with the use of a puns and metaphors to indicate the welcome of summer - amongst the other seasons; Summarily/Summer, uncoiling/spring and fall...well, fall/autumn.
I'll just be happy, if we actually get a summer, this year ;)

I agree with Chimpanzee! I love the zen feel too ;) Those last few lines are brilliant - beautiful imagery!
