silently, she slithers
through and around
the swell of night;
darkness rises within
her dusky form.
breath changes as
his egyptian history
begins to leak and
flood her mind.
blinks!
leathered mask and second skin,
she leaves her caged freedom
full height, glorious in pyramid form.
aching, like a new oil's scent escapes
its bottle, to rise and fall
to his ancient lifestyle.
