the bamboo requests
that the green and navy blue
whisper to the wind
in tongues that they only know
creating a hue of rain
green shimmers in damp
watching blue move the bamboo
with silent wisdom
the waters rise to listen
and the sun to break and shine
the depth of colours
stream their natural entwine
raise and split to seed
a myriad of fragments
like light lanterns, cast shadow
long dark ebonies
strike flick the split seed of green
a glint of silver
may be heard about navy
as dark shadows lick the green
light extinguishes
as the dark does rise and scream
green now falls away
dancing skin as black as night
