from the ABC set ∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙as humble as ashes

chasing shadows
that stain the avenues,
voices on the dark wind;
fountains flow
as statues crumble
onto mirrors of screaming faces.
dance in flames
burn then
rise as haunting air. ~
