"little courtesies"

No likes yet ♦

from the ABC set ∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙a thousand forests

little courtesies have stripped tongues.
please, thank you
oftentimes you're welcome;
manners, etiquette
like dining with a serviette.

a gift given,
a door opened,
a letter written,
once said happily with pride
"thank you."

a positive foundation
opens doors to relations,
shows appreciation
for one, both or many.

small words they may be?
actually large. said in land foreign
and one will see;
a face that is received with a glee *
