I.I.T. Dreams (I knew)
I entered through the gates of IIT,
And I knew this was the place to be.
I knew it would be hard to get in here,
Due to the presence of a number of hard players.
But now I know that I have it in me,
To reach the place I want to be.
Though it is easier said than done,
I am sure of winning in the long run.
Everyone diverts from his path, (so did I)
And it ignited in me a wrath.
I knew I was drifting away,
I knew I was losing my IIT Dream.
But then the wrath brought me back.
I was back up and running,
As I knew that constant effort was the only way of winning.
I am doing what I need to do now,
I am chasing my dream- my IIT dream.
I know if I work hard enough, I would be there someday
Till then let’s play the waiting game.
I know I am going to be there,
My IIT dream will not wipe out in the misty air.
It was here that I was off my path,
Hope this one would put me right back on track.
My IIT dream will not fade away, My IIT dream will not fade away…..
