1st Verse
Snowflakes fall like a wedding veil
on a wondrous winter scene;
the world looks just like a fairy tale
and you like a fairy queen.
And just as the weather changes
as the winter waves her wand;
in my heart something quite strange is
happening as you hold my hand.
Chorus:
The mood feels right; the moon so bright
this pretty Winter Solstice night,
so darling, why not hold me tight
and let’s make love till morning light.
(repeat chorus)
2nd Verse:
Let’s make this night of December
a night we’ll always remember;
keep passions flame brightly burning
till the sunlight starts returning.
And when the morning comes, well go;
walk hand in hand through winter snow;
forever lovers and best of friends;
our solstice of love will never end.
Chorus:
The mood feels right; the moon so bright
this pretty Winter Solstice night,
so darling, why not hold me tight
and let’s make love till morning light.
(repeat chorus)

You are very good at these dear little songs. This is very sweet. Thanks for sharing John. I am looking forward to Winter solstice- then the light will slowly return and we will be on our way to a warmer season but you do make it all sound so nice and fairy tale like- gives a bit of joy in this otherwise dark month and time of year.

Beautiful lyrics JoHn, being one who celebrates the
Winter Solstice, I found this charming, with the
mention of love, it made it even more special.
Jenny.
