If you think that you’re gonna lose;
then you have got nothin’ to lose.
If you think that you’re gonna win
you’ve got no reason to give in.
If you think that the end is near
why waste your precious time on fear;
no matter if you're wrong or right
enjoy the day, forget the night.
Chorus:
It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Worry just makes things worse, you see.
Just do your best and leave the rest
to destiny, you may pass the test.
Don’t be unhappy.
Tears never make anything right.
Just keep on trying
your best and you can make things bright.
Don’t be unhappy.
Tears never make anything right.
Just keep on trying
your best and you can make things bright.
Life is too short for worrying,
while you can breathe then why not sing?
If everything won’t go to plan
just smile and salvage what you can.
It is too early to assume
that it’s all pointless and you're doomed
but just assuming that you are,
go out shining like a big star.

Thanks, Celticman. It would be nice to be able to sing or play an instrument. I've tried learning guitar but I was a bit too self-conscious and guitar practice a bit too noisy.
One of the reasons why I think I like writing is because it's a quiet, secretive sort of thing that you can do up in your room, the perfect sort of hobby for the shy, retiring type.
