Their First Kiss

Perhaps it was an accident;
they bumped into each other
and, liking that, experiment
-ed further and further and further.

Perhaps it was a summer night,
with a full moon above,
as they lay down by firelight
and touched their lips in love.

But what a flame was lit that day;
what great big bang of bliss,
when stone age boy and girl thought they
would invent the first kiss.
