of tomorrow; an act of senseless love
by the bride of earthly sorrow. Vows made
to a deity who is but a blind
and deaf-mute presence in cobwebbed corners
of her cell are ineffible in one
sense, yet form steel shackles in true essence.
Blight of the world tears the beating heart of
her innocence from a black clothed breast, while
a lanterned portal leads bare feet astray
from her chosen path of misery. No
defeat is possible when pain is pure
white light of purity. To bleed away
her future; scars of faith's impunity.
