Impatiently, I yearn for Spring;
to see her petals opening.
I gaze at pictures of her blooms
and dream about their sweet perfume.
I long to pry open each bud;
pry it open and press my nose

a short story about a boat named after a beautiful woman, part poignant, part ghost story & the pull of the sea, love & friendship.
“Folded wings, paper
aeroplanes, pie in the sky...”
A cold wind passes,birds swoop high
caught within a reckless sky.
A frenzied fir punches at
shadows on the garage door.
A cold wind passes,the chimes swing
A virgin bride, dressed, head
to toe in white, creeps home...
Feels so hard to fathom,
That something so strong,
Cannot be returned,
Why is our chemistry so complex,
But cannot make one feel at the same time,
As another does.
Why is bravery so revered,
my sweet little song
I sent you away
packed with dreams
hope
months had gone by
more like you have been born
yet
I shall not send them
for
on the day you came home
A tale of despair and recovery.

He climbed unsteadily up the edge of the ravine allowing loose rock and earth to tumble under his feet. His right foot dragged, then the left one.
Given the chance to step instantaneously into his next life to be reunited with his soul mate, a man agrees to an angel's offer. But now without his memory, will his soul mate save him from his fate?
