"Dreams, my place of"
ko'u kauwahi ia moe'uhane

"an intimate conversation"
munajat

come, walk along the perimetre of the sun

close your eyes and daydream with me

what do you see? what do you dream?

look! can you touch the moonlit star?

reach... and then you can.

extend your fingers... and then you can.

do you feel her light glistening as she timidly

and then tenderly

kisses the darkening knight sky?

submitting her radiance to his ebony wine

like diamonds sewn onto the endless desert

travelling we are

whilst seated upon the most divinely chosen camel.

are you able to name the constellations?

look! how they delicately paven upon the knight's dreamy dress

touch one! touch two! make a wish, make two!

look at the planets dotted abound,

majestically placed spinning around.

do you see saturn complete with his rings?

or venus shrouded with her majestic night veil?

she doth possess that faint hue of blue,

does she not look lovely against those deep, rich cosmic waters?

close your eyes and caress her inviting still waters.

does her feminine charm caste a spell?

does she draw you in so you loose yourself?

and all sense of time and place?

is not her allure mesmerising and mind boggling?

cascade to your knees, you will!

let yourself drift and slowly enter her soul

lie down on this your magic carpet

be still and feel.

feel her presence surround you

like fields of fresh lavendar

then, feel her essence enter you

like a delicate purple butterfly

gliding across oceans of rippling lace.

slowly open your eyes and look around.

find the moon which is her satellite

and slide down his moonbeams.

take my hand and we shall walk across air;

then we shall burn in the fire until we blow away.

together we shall rise as dolphins of the pacific

and on occasion, we will listen to our earthly kapuna

as they impart their wise, lifelong secrets.

the cycle of life, may be seen

from any walk we take

upon the perimetre of the sun.
