I started seriously writing about 5 years ago and one peom took the other and I have heaps in danish and english.I have only written 2 novels-Pushing the Borderline and in danish (sounds like this) "Who- do- you- think- you- are- attitude.." There is a a very special title in danish as the well renowned and established author Aksel Sandemose (in the 1950ties) sort of invented the term by making a set of ''laws'' with this title (Janteloven) which I have translated as so-but I have not translated the novel into english-may well do so. I lived in Sydney,Australia from 1 year old to 16-and then moved to my Dad in Denmark so I am really happy with the 2 cultures(and languages) mixed together in me and my writings/scribblings..I have just turned 50-but my head has almost always been buried in established authors books-my first was "Wind in the Willows"-.And now I can read both english,American and Australian and whatever AND Danish-a bit of Swedish and Norwegian. I feel really privileged-as I have studied a lot of both English and Danish litterature all the way from Shakespeare/Chaucer to modern danish-books and poetry and the romantics.Sorry could go on for ever.I am even a Bachelor of Library Science -had to be I suppose-though didn't ponder it that much when I started studying. Get some satisfaction (in writing) and inspiration almost where- and however. Kindly Arrow
