I first started coming to this site in 2004 when there was a great deal of change and turmoil in my life, and ABCTales helped me work through it all. Now I write less frequently because of other commitments. I work in university administration and have three sons. My academic background is in classical music. Though I don't use it now directly in my work, I am finding the influence of all the training and academic writing emerging subtley in many ways in my life. I value good poetry and wish I had the gift. I welcome criticism and the opportunity therein to improve, and enjoy giving feedback on others' work when I have a chance.
