Forty something ex-wandering minstrel, enticed after a storybook meeting with a Parisien sculptor to try a whole new adventure.
Ten years on finds me well and truly rooted in deepest French cow country, mum x 2 and general family manager in a chaotic and crumbling small holding.
The business of parenting and low impact living requires creativity, fulfilling, but not quite a replacement for years of songwriting and performance - cows make for an ego jarringly disinterested audience - But my youngest girl hit school recently, freeing up the brain space and energy to work on some thoroughly self imposed problems. Wow. Years of ulikely meetings, strange folk and odd incidents are crowding my conciousness, jostling for retrospective contemplation. Utter confusion.
Any remarks, be they critcism, ideas or encouragement would be most welcome.
