Creation - Charles Darwin

I recently watched the film ‘Creation’ about the life and work of Charles Darwin. It covers the issue of creation versus evolution, but is mainly about his own personal struggle for faith, as opposed to religion. After the death of his eldest daughter Annie, his marriage goes through turbulent times, but he eventually reconciles with his wife –who is a firm believer. After all these obstacles and the personal adversity which he had to face, he eventually gets his manuscript ‘The Origin of Species’ published in 1859. It was an overnight success and has been an important reference on the subject ever since. A must-see movie for the whole family, and a fabulous insight into the science of evolution.
