I recommended ABC tales to a promising young writer whom I have had the pleasure of enjoying since the days that he was a standout performer in my Creative Writing class. FINALLY, I've been able to convince him to go public with his writing. He tried to sign in to ABC tales but was unsuccesful. Are we still accepting new writers? How can I help him to join our family.

We're also having another virtual reading event on April 1st - it would be lovely if you could come along and read. Email rachel@abctales if you want to book a place, but do it quickly as the list fills up really fast!

Also y'll might have noticed a change in my writing. I'm no longer posting immediately after writing. I hold off for a day. During that day that I'm not posting immediately, I post what I wrote the day before. I am taking more time with research, punctuation and incubation.

I'd love to join but I don't know how.

I'll grab a place and learn.

It's really not difficult. Have you ever used Zoom before? There are loads of tutorials on YouTube if not. It's at 7pm here, so lunchtime for you? Hope to see you there Ice, and if you just want to be in the audience for the first time, that's fine too - you will still need to register otherwise you won't get in

I'm afraid it's not me that's organising. Here's what you need to do:

On Saturday 1st of April we will be having an April Fool’s Day online reading event from 7pm - 9pm hosted by the wonderful Mark Burrow. Please email rachel@abctales.com(link sends e-mail). Let her know if you would like to read or be in the audience, also your username as well as your real name. Do get in touch quickly if you want to read as the list always fills up quickly. A zoom link will be sent to you before the event. It would be great to see some of our new members too!

Spaces really do fill up quickly - it only took a couple of days last time, so please make sure to book your place on the list asap. We are very friendly and inclusive and even if you've never read before, it's a good way to break that barrier.
