While watching PBS last night I heard an interesting story from a British photographer who had photographed both Putin and Trump.
When Putin walked in he was surrounded by a bunch of very serious looking men in suits. The atmosphere was very tense and alienating for the British photographer.
The photographer, realizing that the surrounding tension would only further disguise Putin from the lens decided to ask a question.
"I'm from England he said to the interpreter to interpret to Putin. I was wondering do you like the Beatles".
Putin immediately responded in English. "I love the Beatles".
The photographer asked "who is your favorite Beatle?"
Putin responded "Paul"
Next the photographer asked "Is Back in the USSR your favorite Beatle song.
Putin smiled and said "No, it's Yesterday"
Right then the photographer snapped the picture and got the image he wanted.
Putin liked it as well.
When the photographer met Trump, he was amazed at all the energy and chaotic vibes swirling around Donald.
He commented to Donald. "There seems to be so much chaos and storm and energy wherever you go. How do you cope with it?"
Donald said "I am the storm"
Click.
Got the shot.
Donald approved.
Yesterday, there was a storm in Syria.

Either of these men would be
Either of these men would be frightening if just one of them was around. Both together are truly terrifying. Really interesting to hear the photographer's account.
