Darts?

Good idea, but I would clog the genre with my fantasy anger which started today: one of my starting QBs has had his status changed from healthy to questionable.  Darts: play better when I'm drunk.

The QB for my fantasy football team was carted off the field with an ankle injury.  There goes my match up this week.  Grrrrr....

Ice Rivers, I agree with your view that Sport is a genre in itself.

In my view another distinct genre is Animal Tales

I am aware that this links into the genre of Nature. It can also be about fables where the storytellers employs an animal fable to tell us something about human nature.

An example of this is Aesop's Fables.

Aesop was at the bottom of the social heap. He was an Ethiopian slave in Athens. He was also physically tiny, maybe less than three and a half foot tall. Yet Aesop was a storytelling giant! He won his own freedom from slavery because his following became so great that his owners had to set him free.

Aesop's Fables are still loved and respected today and are easy to find online.
