Abide With Me by Ian Ayris

Written "in the rough-edged vernacular of London’s East End" this is my favourite book of the year. I read this on holiday in August and couldn't put it down. A real can't-wait-to-get-back-to-my-book books. I just can't wait for Ayris' next novel.

Just wanted to share that.

Looks right up my street Karl, will have a read.

Oh, I know those guys (Caffeine Nights Publishing), they're a good little outfit. One of their authors, Mark Harrison, http://www.caffeine-nights.com/mark-harrison.html has got two titles with UKA Press as well. Good review, Karl, will give it a whirl. http://www.ukauthors.com http://www.ukapress.com
You'll both enjoy it, it's a great book. I think you find stories by Ayris in those compilation short dstory books you see more and more of these days, but this is his first novel.

I will buy n read xx thank you ..
Hi Karl. Your message just popped up on Google Alerts. Just want to thank you so much for your kind words. Made my day, it has. Writing ABIDE WITH ME was a real cathartic experience, and I never imagined it would touch so many people. Thank you. I'm in the process of writing the follow up to AWM, and my first Kindle novella - ONE DAY IN THE LIFE OF JASON DEAN - is published on the 23.11.12. All the best with your own writing, and once again, much obliged for the kind words, sir. Means loads, you know. Best wishes, Ian
