Google ads

Hi Tony et al, are we doing all right without the google ads? I am a bit concerned. I wonder if they will return? Any news about that? Is there a certain quaranteen time or are they gone forever? It's a bit dramatic. I rather liked surfing about with the adds also knowing that they supported site. Do you know how we get them back?

Thanks for your concern. One of our members was investigating putting up alternative ads but he's not been heard from for a bit. If anyone else feels able to put up some other kind of ads then we'll take them if they make economic sense - GoogleAds are gone forever. Why? They won't say! In the meantime many more of you have given donations for which I am very, very grateful. The more the merrier but we will survive - be sure of that.
