I've just watched 'Return Of The King' and found it very moving.
I thought the ending seemed tacked on and I was disappointed to find that the final encounter with Saruman and the thugs back in The Shire didn't make it to the film.
Still, a great film!
For some reason I liked the first episode... perhaps it was that all the wars in the later episodes reminded me too much of the terror and sadness in places like Iraq and Palestine. Still at least the baddies were almost always evil and ugly in LOTR so you were always certain of your allegiance :)

I liked the theme of the 'short' and felt there was room for expansion into a longer film.
Well, at least winning must have boosted your confidence Dan.
It's a bit disappointing to hear that you haven't been contacted by anyone with a view to funding toward doing something else, perhaps a bit more ambitious. Still, I should have thought you would have a good case for a bit of cash from the Arts Council....
