The Bulwer-Lytton Prize for bad writing

Thanks for reminding me BBG. A friend and I have always made a point of looking at these every year as we're both lovers of Charles M Shultz. By the way, that's not Bulwer-Lytton's only contribution to posterity. 'The great unwashed' and 'the pen is mightier than the sword' are also his. Quite interestingly (Stephen Fry note), 'bovril' also got its name from a kind of tonic (called vril) in one of his books - the inventor made it up as a portmanteau word from bovine and vril.
