Sin

Can you hear them shatter?
Did you see that broken glass?
Tiny teardrop memories falling from the past
Careful now, they're sharp
Don't look into those starry eyes
They might just break your heart
Little drops of agony
Piercing the cluttered mohagony
Beginning to walk onto the grass
Cutting those tiny emerald swords in half
Turning to the stars for guidance
The light reflects off the tiny specks
Catapult those fireworks into the sky
Put the world under your trance
Go ahead, touch that star
That tiny shard
I promise it will only be a prick
You know you can't resist
Throw away your morals, and come on in
For I am the world of sin

Wow, another powerful read-
Wow, another powerful read- your words entice the reader and build on the intrigue of what is being offered here. Tantalizingly mesmeric are the subtle twists until the last line reveals is masterfully well done.
